PM1: A Project Management Framework: Organizing, Planning and
Controlling Projects
A Project Management Framework examines project management in theory and practice and the roles and responsibilities of the project manager. The course provides a practical approach to managing projects, focusing on organizing, planning, and controlling the work of the project. (3 days).

PM2: Preparing for the Project Management Professional (PMP® ) or
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM® ) Certification Exam
Many organizations are adopting A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), from the Project Management Institute (PMI), and the related PMP® and CAPM® Certifications, as the primary sources of competency in the field of Project Management. Market Research indicates that employers want project management practioners who have real experience leading and directing projects.  The course is intended to provide a comprehensive review of the six domains of Project Management competency. (4 days)

PM3: Managing an Enterprise PMO with PMI’s Standards
Project Management Offices have become increasingly popular in the past few years, as companies are more than ever striving to optimize the execution of internal processes and projects and drive out unnecessary cost wherever possible. Establishing a PMO is viewed by many organizations as a critical success factor for the alignment of projects with business strategies, for effective project management, and for project portfolio reporting to key stakeholders. (2 days)

PM4: Project Management Using Microsoft Project 2007
This two day course trains the student to use Microsoft Project 2007 in managing projects in alignment with the PMI PMBOK® Guide standards.  The course includes 53 hands-on exercises to reinforce learning exactly how to do each step. (2 days)

PM5: Principles of Project Management and Ethical Behavior for Texas Professional Engineers
This course examines project management in theory and practice and the roles and responsibilities of the project manager, as well as focusing on the canons of professional conduct required by the profession for the Texas Professional Engineer (15 PDH including the required 1 hour of ethics content). (2 days)
